Vibya’s leadership extends to diaspora engagement and the advancement of people of African descent globally. She serves as a board member of the South Sudanese Youth of Canada and Afrika Outbound, where she contributes to strengthening transnational networks, youth leadership, and cross-continental collaboration. These roles reflect her ongoing commitment to building bridges between African and diaspora communities in ways that foster shared growth, representation, and influence.
In addition, Vibya is an Independent Workshop Facilitator and Speaker through Abrayama & Co., where she designs and delivers learning experiences focused on governance, leadership development, and community-based systems change for organizations and emerging leaders. Her leadership has been recognized through several honours, including the Senator Wanda Thomas Bernard Award (Developing Young Leaders of Tomorrow, Today), the Outstanding Youth Philanthropist Award (South Saskatchewan Association of Fundraising Professionals), and multiple community service distinctions. Vibya continues to collaborate across sectors and borders to advance equitable development, strengthen institutions, and cultivate the next generation of leaders.
